The Missing Class

The class on how to do life. The one college forgot to put on the schedule.

You can write a 12-page paper at 2am. But nobody ever taught you what to do when your brain won't shut up, your friend group implodes, or you go home for break and turn back into your 14-year-old self.

16 weeks. Live classes with me every week. Real tools for your real life.

Sound familiar?

You're smart. So why does everything feel this hard?

  • You reread a text four times before sending it, then spiral when they don't answer.
  • You say yes to everything, then quietly resent all of it.
  • You're doing everything “right” and still feel behind.
  • You picked a major because it sounded responsible, and now you're not sure it's yours.
  • Going home for break feels like stepping back into a version of you that you've outgrown.
  • You're exhausted, but it's 1:47am and you're still scrolling.

None of this means something's wrong with you. It means nobody ever taught you how you work.

College teaches you a lot. Just not this.

There's a class for organic chemistry. There's a class for 18th-century poetry. There is no class for anxiety, boundaries, friendship breakups, family pressure, or figuring out what you actually want.

So you're supposed to just… figure it out? Alone? While keeping your GPA up?

The Missing Class is that class. 16 weeks, real tools, and a teacher who's been exactly where you are and will admit it.

How it works

About 75 minutes a week. That's it.

01

Show up to Office Hours

Once a week, live. I teach the week's concept, then we open it up for your real questions. Missed it? It's recorded.

02

Do one small assignment

15 minutes in your workbook. Not busywork. Something you actually try in your actual life that week.

03

Keep it forever

Every class goes into your course library. You'll want it again when you're 24 and something hard happens. Trust me.

The syllabus

16 weeks. Six units. One very different you.

Weeks 1–2

Orientation

Why you're like this (not your fault, but your responsibility) and what stress actually does to your brain.

Weeks 3–5

Your Mind

Overthinking, the inner critic, perfectionism, and what to actually do with your feelings.

Weeks 6–10

Your People

People-pleasing, boundaries with roommates and family, friendship, loneliness, and dating.

Weeks 11–12

Your Habits

Sleep, scrolling, your phone, and habits that stick when motivation doesn't show up.

Weeks 13–15

Your Life

Family pressure, everyone's expectations, what you actually want, and doing scary things anyway.

Week 16

Your Rewrite

You write your own Personal Syllabus: the patterns you're done with and the life you're choosing.

Week 8 is a light midterm check-in, because I remember midterms.

Also included

The stuff that deserved more than one week

4 electives

$297 each on their own. Yours free.

  • Dating & Attachment
  • Body Image & Weight
  • Drinking in College
  • Money 101

Holiday pop-ups

Breaks are when you need this most.

Going Home: surviving family over the holidays without turning back into your 14-year-old self. How to Actually Have Fun: spring break you still feel good about the next morning.

Founding semester only

A 1:1 Rewrite Session

90 minutes, just you and me, to find the story that's been running your life and start rewriting it. Normally $149. Only the founding class gets this.

Your teacher

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm the teacher I needed in college.

On paper, I was fine. Degree, friends, people who loved me. In real life, I drank too much most weekends, woke up with Sunday shame, and spent an unreasonable amount of time thinking about food, my body, and the guy who hadn't texted back.

Then a coach taught me more about my own brain than my entire education had. It didn't magically fix me. It gave me tools, and using them changed everything.

I built The Missing Class so you don't have to wait until 25 to learn this. You'll get honesty, real tools, and someone who's a few steps ahead of you, not a guru.

I'm not here to give you the answers to your life. I'm here to help you understand yourself well enough to stop abandoning your own.

What it's like to learn this stuff

“

Working with Lauren during my college years helped me so much. Learning how my brain worked and why I was doing what I was doing changed everything for me.

Graduated early after transferring

“

My confidence has increased so much since working with Lauren. She was easy to open up to, and I really appreciate the work we did together.

For parents

You can't go to college with her. This can.

Maybe you've watched your smart, capable daughter get anxious, overwhelmed, or quiet in a way that's hard to reach from home. You want to help, but advice from a parent doesn't always land. (That's not a you problem. That's being 19.)

The Missing Class gives her real tools from someone a few steps ahead of her, every week, all semester. It costs about the same as one 3-credit course at a state school, and it might be the one she uses for the rest of her life.

Giving it as a gift? Check out below, then email me at [email protected] with her name and email, and I'll get her set up.

The Missing Class is education and coaching, not therapy. If she's struggling with her mental health, please also connect her with a licensed professional.

Founding semester · Spring 2027

Be in the very first class.

We kick off with one long prep call the week after Christmas, so you walk into the new year ready instead of hungover from it. Class starts the first week of January and runs through May. The founding class gets the lowest price this will ever be, plus a 1:1 Rewrite Session with me that future semesters won't get.

Enrollment closes December 1. After this semester, the price goes up to $1,100 and the Rewrite Session isn't included.

Questions you might be too polite to ask

How much time does this take?

About 75 minutes a week: one live class (an hour) and one 15-minute assignment. It's built to fit next to a real class load.

What if I miss a live class?

Every class is recorded and added to your course library, so you can catch up whenever. Come live when you can, though. That's where the good stuff happens.

When does it start?

The founding semester starts the first week of January 2027 and runs through May. Holiday breaks get special pop-up sessions instead of time off.

Is this therapy?

No. Therapy is clinical care from a licensed professional, and it's the right place to treat mental health conditions or work through trauma. The Missing Class is education and coaching: understanding your patterns and building practical tools. Lots of students do both. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional first.

I'm out of college. Can I join?

This semester is built for college students. If you're in your 20s and out of school, a Rewrite Session or Year of You is probably a better fit.

I'm a parent. Can I buy this for my daughter?

Yes, and I love that. Check out with your info, then email me at [email protected] with her name and email so I can get her set up. It works best when she wants to be there, so talk to her about it first.

You've taken a lot of classes. Take the one that's actually about you.

Founding semester starts January 2027.
